Weddings

We’re delighted if you’re thinking of getting married in our beautiful church.

We’d like to make the process as stress-free as possible for you. If you’d like to have a look around the building we can arrange to meet you there and answer any questions you may have.

If you’ve already arranged your wedding elsewhere and need your Banns to be read, please simply contact the Weddings Secretary (see below) or send a message via the church email.

Who can marry at St. Andrew’s?

Normally, if one or both partners live within the parish boundaries of St. Andrew’s it is possible to get married here.

In some situations (such as where one partner has been previously married) it will be necessary to talk through your particular situation with the parish priest. Equally, if neither partner lives in the parish, you may still have some connection to St. Andrew’s that might allow your wedding to take place here. Contact the Weddings Secretary to book an appointment to discuss any of these matters.

To make arrangements for any of the above, please come to the Parish Office, across the footpath from St. Andrew’s Church, on any Monday between 6:00–6:30pm or telephone 01249 655947 (answerphone outside these hours).
